Ok, im sixteen years old, and the girl I like is fifteen. She is rather shy but seems to be opening up more often. I am quite sure she likes me from the various signs she gives me. I find 50% of our conversations are awesome. But at times I find myself talking about the same thing, (cuz i cant think of anything else), or something that isn't interesting, or fun to talk about. If it's not that, I just end up saying "hey, what's up, how's ur day?" Things are NOT going bad dont get me wrong. It's just that sometimes I dont have something interesting, or fun to talk about. When I do, things are really good. Any good topics to talk about? Any good ideas? ...please help me. All advice, and thought put into this is extremly appreciated. Thanks a million in advance.

Okay, first dude, i have this problem too, but only when the girls are shy like this. The good thing is you can start the conversationg. That's the bad thing too, if you make it one. what you need to do is find some good questions about herself until you find a steady stream of words flowing. Make her think, find some laughs, and after some yuks on her part say something sweet or she'll catagorize u under "friends" Laughter is important. So is the flirt. No laugh and you seem creepy. No flirt and you seem too friendly to be considered as "hers". So do this and you be fine.

fun things you did as a kid
if you or she ever fight with your brothers/sisters/cousins and how you try to handle it
which movies or music you like and why
what you think about your religions or different religions
why you are best friends with the person you are best friends with
the funniest thing that you ever saw in life
what you want to be when you grow up
take a personality test together and tell each other if you think the test is right or not
stuff that happened at school
what new places you could go or things you could do next weekend
what is your dream car and what is it you like about it
what would you do with a million dollars and why
what is your favorite season and why
what makes your mad or irritates you?

the whole point is to find out more about each other and what they think of life and how they want to live life

remember not to have one person do all the talking. the conversation should bounce from one person to another, kind of like a game of catch... if you find your self doing all the talking.. say something and then ask her "what do you think?"

Well, i'll give a short list.
1. Current events
2. Your past, 16 years of your past cannot be summed up in a day, stuff you did before, important events so on and so forth.
3. Movies, music, anything and everything.

4. What she thinks about random things.

Dunno what else but you get the idea.

you find things you have in common

and sometimes it's better not to talk

i find it really hard to bring topics up when i don't want to talk with someone
i find it easy when you want to talk and have much in common

if you are clueless then ask a question that will trigger a topic
example is : what is your favorite food?

coming from a girl, i guess, humorous or funny experiences would be a nice one.:) like bloopers or something, but just don't make it sounds stupid..believe me, some girls are impressed with guys having good sense of humor..and besides, a good laugh relaxes both of you during conversation and everything goes spontaneously. good luck!! :)
