oh no... I know what you mean. My cat once had an episode of this constant crying... drove me nuts. In my cat's case, it was a combination of us having recently moved and the consequent stress it produced in, well, myself and the cat. At first, when he meowed and meowed, I'd go run and attend to him - comforting him, offering food, distracting him with play time and "walkies" in his halter and leash. Then he beagn to cry constantly - demanding attention. After a month I had had enough (I was frazzled). So, whenever he meowed that "attend to me" meow, I would pick him up, march him to the bathroom, close the door and keep him there for 5 - 10 mins. I did this consistently, whenever he meowed and I knew he couldn't possibly be hungry; that I had just walked him; that he has his favorite toys around and that he was meowing only becuase he wants me to "stand at attention." After about two weeks, he finally got the idea that meowing will just earn him the sin bin. :)

Your cat sounds like an Oriental breed like a Siamese or Tonkinese. They are very chatty and love to talk. I have a pedigreed Colorpoint Shorthair (oriental breed) and for the longest time he NEVER shut up. In fact, his registered name was Gloree's Simba Be Quiet! It wasn't until I got a 2nd male playmate for him that he quieted down. It was amazing. Now in order to get him to meow, I have to meow at him first! Try a playmate for him. It will probably do the trick.

Have you asked your vet? I've just owned dogs, no cats so I don't have any possibilities for you, but if I had an animal that cried all the time I think I'd make sure there wasn't anything physically wrong with him. Just a thought. Good luck!

Either he has learned that you are a sucker for it and it works for him or maybe he senses other female cats in the neighborhood are in heat or he is just lonesome and needs a friend that he can play with whenever he wants. The best thing for a kitten is often another kitten - 2 of them work perfectly together.
Peace!

He could possibly have a urinary tract infection. My cat did that for awhile and i took her to the vet and sure enough she had crystals in her urine. He put her on antibiotics for little over a week 2 x daily and sure enough the crying deceased. GOOD LUCK!

hes probably really lonely since you like took his manhood away and all, get him a female friend, it will probably cheer him up to have someone to run and play with. That way you can always b in a normal activitiy and not have to listen to him cry and wine.

He needs to go to the vet. He's trying to tell you he needs something. if he's acting fine otherwise, it's probably that he needs something in his diet that he isn't getting enough of. Animals are more in tuned with their health than we are, thats how they know to eat grass when they are sick and such.

You may want to consider getting him a playmate. Another kitten, maybe? He may just need the extra company.
