My boyfriend is shy when it comes to talking about his feelings, and I'm kinda shy when bringing up the topic too. I would just like to know if he feels the same way that I do. How do I bring it up without making him feel uncomfortable?

Also, his parents are Asian, so they aren't very expressive of their feelings. He was raised in this way, so he doesn't talk about his feelings very often. That's what makes things so difficult.

how long have you been together? i'd just wait till the time is right. there's no hurry.. if you love him enought to marry him, and be with him the rest of your life, then love him enough to wait for the right moment. you have plenty of time. trust me. if you really want to work somthing into the conversation try the next time you're watching tv and a hom depot or lowes commercial comes on, jokingly ask, aww are we going to have weekend house fix ups someday? or you can do it with anything that would bring up future.

You can't bring it up with out making him feel a little uncomfortable. Are you talking about suggesting marriage. Call me old fashioned but I'd wait for him to bring it up.

If you think you are ready for marriage, than you should be comfortable enough to talk about it with him...without wondering how to bring it up.
I think if you are stumped on how to mention it, than you probably shouldn't and you should continue getting to know him...
How long have you been together? Two people in love should be completly open and honest about their feelings and not shy about anything.

Just honestly ask him how he feels about marriage and when he thinks he would like to get married. That would be the only way you would find out and get a straight foward answer from him. This is something a couple should know about each other.
