Hello Lovely firstly lucky you!!!!
When I worked for Carnival I was there ever Friday......
You MUST eat at Amazonia, a really cool Brazilian barbecue place, they have 2 courses, the first you can eat as much as you want fromr the salad bar, when you are ready fo the meat the servers bring it straight from the spit to your table and carve it off in front of you, all 16 different types awesome!
The Argentinian restaurant someone else mentioned is El; Gauchos, it really is fantastic but the only reason I went there is because there is the coolest bar across the road to have martinis in called Garufa, they have about 200 different martinis to chose from and the lounge singer there on a Friday night is awesome!
If you are looking for a party you must go to Carlos and Charlies by the Port, if there's a ship in at night time then all the crew will be there and the place will be a riot!
the best beach on the island is palm beach for parties and Manchebo beach for relaxation, there is also a place called Catalina bay where you can spend time with a few people and not be disturbed, Tom Cruise recently sold his house there, not many people know about it, only locals.....
During the day the main town is bussling with tourists like me and you, avoid cafe ette......there are lots of strange men who would grope you, not a nice experience hah
The shopping is BRILLIANT, if you are into designer brands then the Gucci store is amonst the best I've shopped in!
For a nice lunch the dutch pancake house is brilliant in the little open air mall they have..there is also a small cinema which is fun if you fancy a 'normal' evening!
You can easily cover the island in a jeep in about 3 hours there is a crazy little bar that everyone talks about out in the countryside...
If you have any more specific question feel free to ask!

Try snorkeling at Baby Beach. Just ask a local where that is.
Also, rent a car, kind of an open jeep there on the island, and go to the south tip. It's wild and uninhabited. Cool!
You HAVE to go to Iguana Joes! Great bar!
Aruba has their own desalination plant so the drinking water is superb.
There's also an Argentinian beef restaurant, I don't remember where, but the steaks are the best I've EVER had. And they have a flamenco show on weekends. Just ask your concierge for directions.
Have a wonderful time. Aruba is fabulous!

Carlos-N-Charlie's is a cool place...very loud and busy there. The town is nice to do shopping in and the island is safe to travel around on. Despite what people say about Natalee Holloway, that was a fluke and the island really is a great place to visit. The weather is always warm so dress appropriately.

I've been to aruba twice last year, go to carlos and charlies, and also go on the tattoo boat on ladies night. During the day go on the jolly pirate. A great resturant to eat at is El Gachos steak house. But most inportant go on the Kukukanuku party bus and say hi to the crazy lady... Have fun.

De Palm Island is FUN for snorkeling. Giant blue parrot fish come right up to you. It's not allowed to feed them, but you should do it anyway. You'd be surrounded by like 75 giant fish (I'm not exaggerating), all begging you for MORE MORE MORE!!! We fed them when we were there and then tried to swim away, but they followed us everywhere. We had a crowd! Palm Island is all inclusive, so I would suggest you to arrive at midday for lunch.

You are so lucky, if you like shopping they have beautiful stores in town, you can buy gems at great prices, or clothing.
