Set your oven on a really low temperature... you can even leave the door open. Put your book on a cookie sheet and then put a brick or something heavy on top of the it (try a big casserole pan if it covers the book). Just wait for it to dry out. The weight will help keep the pages from curling too much. Every once in a while, take the book out and fan through the pages to make sure they're not sticking together. It won't come out like new, but it will be a lot better.

i found it in all topics. I dont know exactly the best way to unwrinkle them...you couldn't use an iron because then you would have to iron every page...perhaps find some way to set them under something. My gift card to target got all curled up in the dryer and i set it under a heavy object. Consider the advice of others though.

put them on a soft white sheet and lay another white sheet on top of them then blow dry them for awhile. If that leaves them still damp then run a lightly heated iron on them (while they are inbetween the sheets. This happend to us in the flood of the hurricane.

I don't know about that. I think paper stays wrinkled because it shrinks when it dries. Artists usually 'stretch' their paper, but I think you may be SOL. Water damage is usually 'fatal' to books.
Cute last line, by the way!
