I recently have lost a lot of weight. I want to get a tattoo that represents change, the struggle of my weight loss, and to remind me everyday that I never want to be that unhealthy again. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks.

How about something that represents freedom and the struggle that you went through... like something with wings or something that resembles you. I lotus flower is also very empowering and a bloomed flower could represent the flower you've become after this huge change. I like that idea of a butterfly but only if it's something that's like you. I think something strong would be a great symbol. Anything that you get, just make sure it's exactly what you want and like. Good luck with that and Congrats about your weightloss. Way to go!

i dont know how big you are wanting to go, but a 1/2 sleeve scene of a caterpillar transitioning into a butterfly. if you arent looking for something that large then you could get a tattoo of your favorite flower blossoming. Congradulations and good luck

i have had struggles in my life too that left me at the bottom,
i chose a huge colorful butterfly to represent change for me-
colorful-because i feel that i am a colorful multifaceted person.
butterfly-because i too felt like i had grown into something
more spectacular than i was before.

I tattooed my eye lids, it hurt but worth it! I had "open eyes" put on both lids and now with my eyes closed they look open! I am hoping that I can sleep while driving! I can go to class and sleep and no one will know. I just had it done so I haven't tried it yet. Wish me luck!
