Because the translators selected by King James were not expert in the ancient languages, and didn't know that the Hebrew phrase for "horned beasts" was a reference to cattle. There was a lot they didn't know, which is why the original KJV had more than 3,500 translational errors in it. In the Revised JKV the majority of such errors have been corrected, but not all of them, and I have always wondered why they didn't correct this one since it is one of the most obvious and most ludicrous mistranslations in the original version.

I shall explain, besides the fact that the appearance of this fictitious one horned horse in scripture is obvious a error showing the ignorance and inability of the 1611 translation community. The King’s Bible use of it demeans, degrades and cheapens the one true God to a level equal to Pagan mythology.
For example Num. 23:22; 24:8 of the KJV disgracefully and blasphemously described Gods strength as equal to that of this PAGAN creature derived solely from the minds of men. The KJV has Joseph [Deut. 33:17 ] describing God with the "horns" of this imaginary man made PAGAN animal. Psalms 92:10 has God preposterously describing himself the "horn" of this PAGAN beast.
Psalms 22:21 of the KJV has King David ridiculously asking God to save him from a figment of mans imagination.
But don’t be fooled for none of this shocks or offends the KJV Onlyist, for what matters to them is not the truth, not the honor and dignity of God. The only thing that maters to them is the false integrity of there leather bound, man made, translation.

Because some Christians don't believe in unicorns.
Though, if you can't believe in worldly things like dragons and unicorns, how can you possibly believe in God?

It was an incorrect translation. It would appear that the translators believed that unicorns existed.

Cause the translators thought there really used to be unicorns. And their Hebrew was pretty spotty.

because the bible is a false cult book full of errors. if people that wrote the cult bible thought unicorns existed, then it's no surprise that they thought someone died and floated out of a tomb later on...
AND, walk into any cult-book store. you'll find over a hundred versions of the BuyBull, all claiming to be the true word of god.
if that isn't enough for you to realize that it's nonsense, then seek help. you need it.
