my friend told me that going to a movie in new york costs $13...is this true?

here in seattle, a movie is only $7......what's going on in new york? i told my friend that i don't believe him......is he really telling the truth or not?

Tickets max out at $11. You can pay more for other services (like reserved seats in some theaters). The thing that sucks is there are no matinee prices. But it is worth it. I can walk to the theater anytime I want to see a movie.
