I have been single for a few years now and really want to start dating...but really scared of rejection because of being overweight........it seems every where you look men still want the perfect "showpiece" and that makes me feel worse that i won't be able to find someone.Please HELP........No mean answers please

You shouldn't go anywhere thats meant for plus sized women. you said that guys want "showpiece" body, well thats just saying they want a specfic body type, and the guys you are going to get from going to a place where they liked plus sized women are going to be the same, they're looking for a specific body type. if you really looking to date, then it shouldn't be based apon body shape, it should be based around personality.

The problem isn't meeting men that like large women, its about your self-confidence. If you are embarresed about the way you look then that will repel men. You need to either go on a diet and change your body to fit the image you have for it or stay fat and change your idea of your self-image so you can be confident about yourself.

If you find out-I would like to know. I have a friend who is miserable because she cannot get a guy, and she is so overweight-and gaining and gaining as she eats out of frustration. She so desperately wants someone. She'd want someone around 45-60 years old. She has never been married.

Are you a healthy fat or an unhealthy fat? Men and women (and other animals) look for healthy mates. If you are an unhealthy fat, then focus on getting healthy again.

join some church groups and get involved, you'll meet other single men that way,
also, school.
Enroll yourself in some courses, even one or two.
