Let's assume for a moment you were born with a tiny spark deep within the heart of you. And that when our bodies die that it goes with you and becomes 'part of the source, or whatever.
Perhaps the Guardian Angel tending us is a
Spark Whisperer helping us, and you might
meditate a bit on your spark to hear the soft sounds.

Just talk to them, and they hear. Ask them to find ways to let you know they're around, and then be open to the anwers.
Despite what some have posted, communicating with angels does not mean you worship them. They are created by God, and I am grateful to God for their presence in my life.

By prayer, each and everyone of us has at least one or more Angels that God assigned us, it is though prayer that we ask God in Jesus name, for protection, guidance, wisdom, health, happiness, patience, etc. and that's the Angles role, to help you, you just have to ask what you need in prayer...

Well if they are guarding you, they should hear you if you talk to them. Here is a common prayer for them.
Guardian Angel from heaven so bright,

We are not to pray to anyone but God/Jesus.
