While I was in church school I had many questions:

1. Is it so wrong to Question and doubt? Why must people get SO offended when someone Questions religion?

2. Some rules are plain illogical: Body Piercing is a sin? Tattoos are a sin?

3. Sex before marriage: Why can't we have sex before marriage? Sexual intercourse is a "Natural" thing.

It just seems like religion is a system; it's a system to govern the people.

4. Why believe in scriptures, books, and literature. It is written by "MAN", the very man that Lies, Cheats, Betrays, Causes Conflict, War, etc.?

I think it's normal as a human being to question and to even doubt. But there comes a point when you are simply playing devil's advocate. Sex before marriage destroys the family unit (teen pregnancy, stds, abortion)...piercing is a personal choice...the bible was inspired by God...etc etc

1. No, that is how we learn. Some people take things personally.
2. It's legalistic. The body of the believer is a temple of God. Your choice.
3. Natural, yes. So are STD's. God intended it to be the purest thing two people can share. Why dilute this for our future spouse, presenting them and yourself a used and abused offering?
4. Religion can be just that, and has been (still) used in that way. The aim of religion for the individual is spiritual enlightenment and finding God. Don't let it keep you from God.
5. Keep you eyes off man, and look to the spiritual behind it. The Bible, though written by men, was inspired by God through the Holy Spirit. Many of the truths in it are spiritually discerned, which is how Christians know it is the word of God, regardless of the many ways it is translated and paraphrased.

Seek God. Christianity is the only way to Him, as I have gone down many paths to find Him. Jesus is the way, truth and life. Exclusive, but true. Many know about Him, but not many really know Him. There is a living God, ready to give you the gift of His Holy Spirit. You don't have to work for or qualify for a gift. It is simply given. Ask, and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock, and the door will open to you. God bless your journey.

Interesting posting. You speak of asking questions, yet it appears that you never asked why God would have the sexual act reserved for marriage only. True, sexual intercourse is a natural thing, does that make it right for Billy's 32 year old teacher to have sex with him? If you say no (and I'd agree), why would you think that? Wouldn't that just be a "rule"?

1. Because religions impose their beliefs on other people
2. Don't agree with the so-called "rules" either
3. It is said that you shouldn't have sex before marriage, but to organized religions, it's a sin
4. It is, people should know that it is written by an ordinary person.

In general, all religions are lies
