Either most of the answers you are getting are from 10 year olds, or have the mentality of a 10 year old.
You can not tell when you have spotted a "real" witch, warlock, or medicine man. Voodoo priestesses MIGHT be spotted by their dress depending on where you see them. And yes, Warlock is a very derogatory term. Witch applies to female and male.
I don't know what "supernatural powers" you are referring to. Some people are psychic (actually everyone is they just don't know it), some are mediums. None of us can fly or turn people into toads.
You might be able to spot me, I am a 53 year old woman wearing jeans & a sweatshirt driving a Jeep. Have you seen me yet? I was at Wal-Mart yesterday buying some herbs in the garden shop. Sometimes I do wear my pentagram.
If someone is claiming to have supernatural powers ask them to prove it! I would like to meet them myself. More than likely if someone is making these claims they are just pretenders wanting attention, unless you are in New Orleans and attending a Voodoo gathering.

A witch: You might look for a Pentacle around their neck. But some Witches don't wear them, and some wear them, but are not Witches. They may be Pagan or Wiccan, but don't practice Witchcraft.
A warlock: Warlock means traitor. So ask anyone if they've broken a promise to their friends. If they have, they're a warlock, although that word is pretty ancient and not used toward oath-breakers today.
A medicine man: Look for a man with medicine. Simple as that.
Voodoo Priestess: Look for a woman with any African symbols as jewelry or tatoos. But like the others, some people may wear these and not be a Voodoo Priestess. I'm just saying that a Voodoo Priestess might wear these things.
I personally don't think people have supernatural abilities. If you are talking about one who casts spells, those aren't supernatural abilities. It's the spell that has the power.
Blessed Be.

I can't know unless they tell. Mambos, Hougans, witches, medicine men look just like everyone else. Here is the website for the house I belong to. The Mambo looks just like anyone else. The house in PA on a quiet little street. Check out here picture and you will what a vodou priest looks like. And by the way most do not claim to have supernatural abilities. If they do they are probably fake. We use the same abilities that every has. We have just learned how to use that ability where as most people have not. Enjoy!

A witch is a practitioner of witchcraft. A Wiccan is a member of the religion time-honored as Wicca. Wat you defined appears like a seizure, which has no longer something to do with witchcraft or Wicca. You declare you recognize her from college, so are you retaining both one of you're minors? if so, then there is not any way she holds a severe position in any Wiccan coven. As for warlocks, No, I have under no circumstances met all of us that has been exiled from their community. it really is what warlock ability. it isn't a male Wiccan or witch.

You can't.
But, if you look real hard, you'll be able to spot me. I'm the woman wearing jeans and a T shirt. I drive a mini van full of kids.
Seriously, it's a hard thing to do. We usually don't go around shouting out about it.
Oh, and 1 thing, warlock is a pretty bad term. They are traitors!
Guys can be witches too.

You will know when you've spotted a real witch, warlock, etc when your hair stands on end and all of the individual strands join in singing "Tomorrow" from "Annie."

Some witches or priestesses or medicine men may wear "different" clothes, but many of us look just like everyone else, so I don't think there's a way to say "Here's how".

You have to ask them. Most people would never guess I am a witch.
BTW, don't ever xcall a guy a warlock. That means oath-breaker, and is deragattory [Except to LaVey Satanist's]

It is because your flesh is naturally drawn to the darkness.....turn around and walk to the light.....be intrigued with Christ....the Word says not to have anything to do with these things....not because they are not real.....but because they are.....but it is a ticket to Hell if you get pulled in.....keep your eyes on the Lord and be intrigued with supernatural works of Him....Be Blessed.
