Wow there sure are a lot of answers to this one. I am not sure I can add anything, but I will try. Usually headaches above the eyes are sinus headaches caused by pressure inside the frontal sinus. If you bend over and put your head toward the floor and the headache worsens almost immediately it is pretty much a diagnosis of sinus headache. Migraine headaches are usually on one side of the head or the other, and not right in the middle between the eyes per say. Stress headaches usually come from behind and come up the back of your neck and head toward the front, but usually do not get to the forehead over the eyes. Trying to stop theses headaches without medicine is a good trick and may require a dancing medicine man from one of the coastal tribes... But if you have come to the conclusion that you might have to try something resembling a medicine then you should try a decongestant such as Benadryl (diphenhydromine) which will not raise your blood pressure, and may make you sleepy. Over the counter Claritain (loratadine) could also be helpful. Afrin type nasal sprays might also help this problem. Or breathing Vicks (menthol) vapors might be a bit old fashion, but be more in line with not ingesting medicine.

My headaches in that area are usually due to my sinus problems. I'll either get a headache right between the eyes or over one eye. Mine always seem to come when theres going to be a change in weather or any time of year when my allergies are bad.
Oddly enough, i always put on a toboggan hat. The warmth on my head usually works. If its a pretty bad headache, i rub vicks vapor rub on my forehead and put the hat on.
Might be worth a shot. hope you feel better!

It sounds like either an eye strain or sinus headache. Get a nice warm moist rag -- lay back on your soft pillow -- put the rag over eyes and forehead. The warmer the rag the better.
I've had these kinds of headaches before, and my suggestion has worked for me in the past.

Put some ice cubes in a plastic bag and hold it on the spot where it hurts for as long as you can stand it.
Then do it again. Should get rid of headache in a few minutes.
Old wives tale, it works.

It may be a sinus headache, or many of my patients who were constipated, would often complain of a "headache, right between my eyes". If this is the case, increase fiber, fluids and see if that helps you have a good bowel movement, and the headache goes away. Our patients were usually given either stool softeners, or laxatives, but since you suggested the "no med" approach, that is what I would suggest. Remember: PAIN IN LIFE IS INEVITABLE.....SUFFERING IS OPTIONAL!

A headache is caused by stress from lack of water. You need 2 Leaters (64oz) of water every day. This will kill the pain without drugs.

A number of things cause headaches: stress, illness coming on such as colds or flus, tension, sinusitus, allergies, noise pollution, the list goes on and on.
This sounds like a sinus problem since it is between the eyes. You can try putting a cold compress on the area. You probably need to see a doctor to be evaluated for sinus problems.

Often, headaches are actually caused by dehydration. The first sign of dehydration is getting a headache. If the headache is caused by this, you should drink a glass of plain water and it will help to relieve it. Or, you can try an herbal remedy such as Head-On.

sounds like maybe a migraine. Without meds, I would try caffeine and water. Also a cold towel behind the head.
the cause of headaches varies but it's mainly caused by enlargement of blood vessels.

There are lots of reasons for headache... most common one are when you blood is low in sugar or stress (which causes your brain to work more and ultimately consuming more sugar...).. take your food properly.. If taking a coffee makes you feel better.. then above causes are confirmed...
