I lead a sheltered life but....

I have a nose scar from when I was 4 and caught my nose on the door jam. ripped it right open it did. papa taped it up which meant that it did not heal quite right. I tried to hide from the baby sitter because I had all that bandage on my nose.

I have a little scar on my lower lip that looks a little like I did a piercing .. but no .. when I was young I was thrown forward in the car and my teeth cut open my lower lip .. if I try I can still feel the scar line 30 years later.

one on my forehead from the zplasty that was done when I hit my head on the pool doing the butterfly .. I had grown much that year and what used to take 4 strokes took 2 and 1/2 (wham!) Then coincidentally I got glasses the next day . and people for years thought that I had to get glasses cause I hit my head on the pool!!!

I have a hernia operation scar across my abdomen.

I have a scar on my left right testicle cause it was undecended and they had to operate.

I have scars on my heels from when I did a flip turn and nailed both heels on the wall .. took weeks for the bruise to heal and walk without pain.

I have a small scar on my thumb where a scrape got badly infected and scarred for life.

I can still see the scar where I evidently almost cut my right middle finger off carving an apple with a very sharp paring knife.

I have some small scars on my right arm where I rolled on the concrete from a bike accident. I almost hit a small dog, and then I went head over heels over my bike. my aikido training helped save my life. the next morning my arm itched fiercely, but no bruising!!

I have brown spots on my back and right shoulder from scalding water that came out of a shower .. I lived in a scholarship hall and one was supposed to scream shower when one flushed... one day someone did not and they had plausible debility .. but to this day I think someone laughed... I could have been very badly burned .. as it was I had 2Nd and some 3rd burns. If I hadn't heard the flush I would have had 3rd degree burns all over the place.

enjoy!

I have a scar on the bottom of my right foot from steeing on a rusty nail at the age of five, the bottom of my left foot from glass that same year, my right knee from hot stove, a c-section scar from the birth of my only child, my angel, a long one down the center of my chest from swinging on a chain link fence! That's all and yeah I guess it is interesting to think about them. I know my daughter likes to see the c-section scar and hear the story of my pregnancy and her birth.

yes i have at least 1 on each arm and 1 on each leg, 1 that looks like i had a c-section, and 1 huge 1 on my hip. i was passenger in 2 different car accidents within 6 months of each other. i was 16 when they happened. my hip and pelvis was crushed and they had to do reconstructive surgery. And i also went through the windshield hit the hood of the car and then got knoked back in the car.I also ran through a sliding glass door at age 15 because i was drunk.

I am burned over 70% of my body and face from a house fire 12 yrs ago-back then there wasn't much to be done to make you look better-the docs just wanted to keep you alive.I went through some experimental surguries...some worked...some didn't.So I guess I'm the Scar Queen of THIS topic! hee hee

Both wrists, my legs; the story is I used to be a cutter. That's what we called them way back when in the '70's. I cut to feel. I had a problem with that for along time. Now I have covered them with tattoos.
