So he believes you boned up a guy who lied about it. And he doesn't care about it because he's cool that you had a life before you got together. You are making a problem where none really exists, other than in your own mind.

Put it this way. If a poll were taken in your school where every guy were asked if he had had sex with you, the answer would be large (and wrong).

You've got a mature guy. Please him. Your ex is a lying douchebag, emphasis on ex. Forget him.

You have quite a dilemma, If Charlie told a lie and you know it then why don't you tell Sam everything from start to finish and if Sam still does not believe you then it might be time for Sam to go and you find a new boyfriend, although it might be easier to tell Charlie that what he told Sam was a complete lie and you don't appreciate it and you want to know why he did it. Then you can tell Sam and see what happens, It is up to you to decide what you and Sam do next if the relationship is all that important to you.

I wish there was a "super fix it" for a situation like this. Unfortunately - you can't prove you never had sex with this guy "Charlie"... even more you can't prove that it wasn't in the first 2 weeks!

My best advice would be to just keep telling him how honest you are being with him and whatever you do... DO NOT LIE - about anything... it all comes out, and if he catches you in a lie - then all of your credibility with him is shot!

Good luck - and stay strong!

If they were already friends when you started dating "sam" then "charlie" will never be out of the picture and sam will always believe what his friend will say because they are boys,

If Charlie and Sam are so close, perhaps they should be in a relationship together.
I would not be in a relationship/friendship or otherwise with someone who did not believe me.
If this were happening to me, and thank God it's not.. I would total up my losses and move on. They are not worth it, pure and simple.
Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and say Bye Bye Boys.
You are worth it.
Good luck

honestly there is nothing you can do to prove to him it's a lie.. he is gonna believe what he wants to regardless, and 9 times out of 10 he is gonna believe the guy. but the only thing you can do is tell him how much it bother's you that he lied on you like that and got away with it cause he believes him. really all you can do is tell him it a complete lie, that apparently he's jealous of you two's relationship for saying something like that... well good luck

if he believes someone over you, then he doesn't trust you. and a relationship lacking trust is no relationship at all. sorry.
