I'm going to Heaven because I believe that Jesus died for my sins. Yes I believe in the resurrection. I would like to live on earth under His rule.

We all return to the earth after the new Jerusalem is placed here, but for the time being those who believe in Jesus go to heaven.

I do not believe in any such thing. On the one hand, you say that God lives in your heart. If that is the case, why would He sit around watching you sin, wouldn't He try to give you a few slaps (tough times in life) to bring you on track so that you live a better life?
If God has to wait an entire lifetime to judge you, He must really be out of control of your life, and must really not care what you do or say. He just would be sitting there to make the lives of half of the humans miserable. What a saddistic God!

do you mean the rapture? if so, yes, the Bible says, 'the dead in Christ will be raised first' it's the raising of our bodies, when the rapture happens all of the bodies of christians will be caught up in the heavens and will be turned from corruptable bodies to incorruptable and dwell with christ in the place he has prepared for us.
I'd rather be in the new earth that God will create than this earth.

Yes, I believe my soul will go to heaven to be with God when I die. The resurrection is when your soul gets united with a glorified, uncorrupted, body; this occurs when Jesus returns. I would rather be with God, wherever He is.
