I am so confused. My X and I have been split for a little bit. She is dating another guy and a few months ago we talked about getting together, but she had just started to see him. I know she just dated him because she was lonely, and he treated her nice. I was kind of mad that she would not end things so we could get back together, but I understand, because I actually left her a few years ago for someone else. I was young and dumb. But I have changed and feel like she is who I am supposed to be with. I decided to give her her time, and that was two months ago. Well she has started calling me saying she just is not happy, ya know the same old, How she likes him, but she is in love with me. Would I be a fool to take her back? We dated from when I was 19 until i was 23. and on and off untill now(25). I am just really really confused. I can tell she wants to come back,....

True love will always find its way back together.If its truly meant for the two of you to be together, you both will be able to let the past be just that. You two certainly have a past together and love. If shes willing to leave this other guy, then yeah, I would give the relationship another chance. Sounds like the both of you have learned that maybe the grass isnt always greener on the other side. Thats what life is about, living and learning. Good luck! Gena

This girls playing with you. You're her back up guy for when she needs a boost. Don't take her back. Sounds like you've been in this mess for a while but trust me she's not wanting forever with you. If she were after the real deal you guys would still be together.
She's just going to keep using you. Don't take her back.
