Have you ever done something stupid or something that you knew was wrong and felt really terrible about it and wished you hadn't done it? Do you remember that feeling? Hell is forever having those feelings of regret and knowing you can't go back to ever make things right. Besides being a particular place, Hell is a state of mind. The scriptures say that there will be weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.

Do you feel mentally ill sometimes?
Do you feel depressed, sad and emotionally ill at times?
Do you feel spiritually ill sometimes?

You don't need a body to feel those things.
A body is used only to express those illnesses, but the body, or flesh itself may not feel it.

How do people know how it feels in hell, when nobody's been in it while still living.

However, I reckon going to church and you'll find the answer. The main point is not hell, but heaven.

Best of Luck!

What will happen to you in Hell is totally unimaginable. The pain will not merely be physical, it will be emotional, mental, spritual, etc. Imagine all the sorrow, remorse, regret, anguish, anger, lonliness, and every other bad emotion you have ever felt and multiply it by a million. Imagine the worst physical pain you have ever felt, and multiply that by a million. The fact that you won't have a physical body is irrelivent. You will be in unimaginable pain in every way possible. And you will be completely separated from God and all of your loved ones for all eternity. In hell you will be separated from all love, and all good emotions. There will be no relief. Now let me tell you the good news. There is a God who loves you and who does not want you to go to Hell. He wants you to realize that you have sinned, that you have made mistakes, and that every one has and does. He wants you to be sorry for them and to ask Him to forgive you. He wants you to accept that He sent His son Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of the entire world. This is possible because Jesus lived a sinless life and because he is God in human form. He wants you to accept his gift of the Holy Spirit. That is all that he asks. He wants to share his great Love with you. The only thing that is keeping you from heaven is a simple prayer. God be with you.

No one is scared into becoming a christian. You become a Christian when you realize that Jesus died for your sins to make you worthy to enter into the presence of God. You make a conscious decision to die to your sinful way of life and enter into fellowship with Jesus. the bible teaches that all who die in their sins will be judged according to their works. Whether that means Hell forever or not I'm open to discussion on.

The degree of punishment will be commensurate with one's sin against the light which one has received.
One good passage that indicated degrees of punishment is Luke 12:47-48: "That servant who know his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be BEATEN WITH MANY BLOWS. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be BEATEN WITH FEW BLOWS. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked". Other verses on this issue include MAT 10:15; 16:27; Rev. 20:12,13; 22:12.
Jesus affirmed that the wicked "will go away to ETERNAL punishment, but the righteous to ETERNAL life" (Mat 25:460
Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

I think of it like this. The devil is in hell stirring up a lot of hot boiling plastic and it's a million degrees and every time that fire burns your skin off, your skin grows back again only to get burned right back off. It gets worse, don't care to think about it.

Jesus said that there is unceasing weeping, sorrow, and pain. Lonlieness. Despair. Every evil thing.

You will have a body. Fit for hell, eternally.

You choose for you. Choose wisely.

i think of that's a variety of questions the place religious 'experts' first evaluate how they experience approximately it, then visit discover Biblical help for his or her own thoughts. Suicide seems unnatural to them, it takes removed from God the volition on your man or woman death, so as a result they think of it extremely is incorrect and sinful. The Bible would not handle the subject especially, so they discover returned-up for his or her own suggestions by skill of reading passages that have some thing to do with it. like the commandment against homicide. Suicide isn't homicide! This answer isn't approximately whether suicide is a sin or no longer, it extremely is approximately how those solutions are arrived at. Fundamentalist have self assurance that the answer to each question could be got here upon interior the Bible. And that each and each passage interior the Bible can purely be interpreted one way, and that single which skill is glaring to everyone who reads it. i grow to be raised Jewish and Jewish pupils spend their time arguing over option perspectives. In Fundamentalist Christianity there -are- no option perspectives! in case you ask a fundamentalist minister some deep question, like this one, he element your nostril to a pair passage interior the Bible and inform you that's merely what it skill and we've not any option yet to have self assurance and carry on with it. in case you ask a Jewish rabbi the comparable element, he will scratch his chin and say 'properly, Aritstotle mentioned so and so, Maimonides interior the 10th century mentioned such and such, Thomas Aquinas mentioned so and so. go living house and think of approximately it for your self. in case you think of the subject by thoroughly, and in case you're truly truthful with your self you will arise with the splendid answer. and that's my answer to you. in my opinion i've got self assurance our lives are a present day to us from God, they're ours to do with as we please. There are situations the place suicide isn't purely suitable, it extremely is the terrific answer to the subject. There are different situations the place it extremely is the coward's way out and the guy is conscious that earlier. i think of God cares greater approximately how we are living than how we die. it extremely is what you do once you're right here it extremely is significant, no longer how or once you look at. yet it extremely is merely -my- thoughts on the subject. you're able to desire to think of the subject by for your self.
