I had a work party tonight, had about 8 over (one was this girl i really like). Gradually as night progressed she got a lot more touchy feely, like leaning her head on my shoulder, and touching on arms.

When it finished, she stayed to help me clean up (everyone else left), after that we sat down and must of talked for 2 hours.

For some reason i felt it was wrong to try and flirt, (maybe i didnt want her to think bad of me trying to sleep with her without dating or anything). Before she went i asked if she wanted to do something tomorrow, she did say yes, but my negativity for some reason makes me think she wasnt jumping for joy that i asked.

I did ask her out 2 weeks ago, but she had just started dating someone, but said had i asked before she would have said yes.

Do you think she likes me and wants me to ask, or is there a possibility she just wanted to talk. I know every sign points to yes, but i got this weird vibe as if she wasnt super keen. I was nervous as hell.

Well tell her you didn't want to just have sex with her for the first night and was a little shy by asking her out. Honesty always works and she will respect that you didn't sleep with her and just repeatedly ask her out and stay in touch. Times will come around for you. Good luck

Look dear, if you have good looks and athlectic body the girl wanted to be close to you just for physical reasons. But is that all that you are looking for?
Try to recall the whole episode... what were the topics on which you talked when no one was around? Did she share her personal issues with you? Did she say, things like "your Mom or sister is cute"? These can be very positive signals. Why the hell will she talk about your Mom if she is not interested in impressing you that she is "family oriented" !!

Since she stayed late for the dishes, she is definitely interested in you but try to find out whether her interest is limited to physical attraction or she actually likes you as a whole. How to find it out? Just be in touch with her... talk on general issues... don't talk about yesterday's incident. Let her initiate that topic. But if she is shy or something then you'll have to start the topic on your own. But wait for 3-4 days...
All the best... you deserve a good time with her.

You're doing good there pal. Just move slow, don't be pushy with her and she'll respect you for it. Girls don't like pushy guys. If it is suppose to be, It will be. Slow and easy also protects your feelings if she decides she doesn't want more than a friendship with you. If she is worth having then she is worth waiting for. takeing some time to let your relationship grow can't hurt anything. From what you said, I don't see any negatives.

experience with them. it extremely is not some thing you do away with over night. it extremely is a lot worse whilst your a for sure quiet man or woman and chatting with you is like whispering on your friends. I merely don't experience the could desire to shout each and everything...

Maybe it was your nerves that was giving her a weird vibe. Stop being so nervous. If she said she wanted to go out with you, then I think she wants to go out with you. There is nothing to be nervous about.
