You think that your safe because your an American . The Patriot Act reclassifies all Americans as potential terrorists . Military Commisions Act basically gives them the right to torture suspected terrorists . Who knows what the next legislation holds? Dont feel that this is the land of the free and the home of the brave for much longer . Remember the lessons of Nazi Germany that when they started taking all these people and I did nothing . Then when they came for me , there was noone left to help me . It could happen here .

You are scare-mongering. I don't agree with your point of view, whatsoever. It doesn't hurt people to be expected to carry ID with them everywhere they go. I always do and always have and it has not been a hardship for me. Times are different nowadays since 9/11. If I lose a little bit of freedom in doing away with the terrorists, so be it. I can handle that.

And every time I see another Democrat speak on TV I remember Nazi Germany. For they are the party who want to take guns away, create equal and balance among our country through taxes and legislation. People. there ain't nothing equal about equal. Listen closely to what Hitler said and you'll her Marxism and Communism in his speeches as our Liberal politicians do today.

The Patriot Act is very dangerous to personal liberties. It's equivalent to Canada's War Measures Act. In 1970 the Feds picked up over 400 people in Quebec and incarcerated them. They could keep them as long as they wanted (national security).
Eventually, all were released and no charges laid.
Civil liberties? We don't have any as long as legislation like this is in existence.

you are right i am so scared of this because my baby's father is an illegal alien but my son and i were born here and are legal...i am scared he will be with his family and they will all be deported...how would i get my son back once he is in mexico? just really scary to me

they didn't do it before the illegal invasion. they wont do it when they start rounding them up. and yes it will happen. so stop trying to scare americans, we don't scare easily.
