YES!!!
I put my daughter's in the dishwasher and it came out looking even crazier
Take my advice- hand wash only

YES, and if the straw gets pushed out of the silverware holder it will wind up melting on the heating element

Only when you have the heated dry option on. We run them through our dishwasher all the time.

Only if you put the drying heater on.
If you wash and let dry naturally - they'll be okay.
