he only talks about it when he has been drinking. My bf tells me that he loves me and he says that I make him happy and we are great together. But the other night we were at a party and he had a good bit to drink, well he pulled me aside and was 100% serious when he asked me "if he could give me everything I wanted and the biggest ring would I marry him". He has talked about this many times, but only after he has been drinking. He starts off by saying something to get my attention but when he has it he says never mind you won't believe me cause you'll think its just the alcohol taking. But I ask him if he remembers what he said the next day and most of the time he does...but never mentions the marrage thing sober. I just act like the whole conversation is just him talking because he is drunk so I didn't really take it too serious until he has been asking me alot more. What do you think I should do?

Well, maybe it's just because he feels more confident and loose when he's had a couple of beers. If it's something you want and you are sure of talk to him about it and ask his feelings.

Wait until he asks you when he is sober. If he really wants to marry you then it will come sooner or later. Be patient. If he can't ask you when he is sober there is something wrong.

Tell him that you'll think about it when he's sober. If he's only good and sweet and kind to you when he's drunk then he's not that into you.
