I wish I could do it all over, I'd join the service and three years later, with maturity, organization and possibly some training the world will be your pearl. I learned this 23 years late.

Because you are sleepy, you may not be lazy at all. You might have a very common sleep disorder "sleep apnea" which causes daytime drowsiness. So please see your doctor first and get a full blood work up and maybe a sleep study. Also you might consider low iron because a lot of women get this and it also makes us sleepy during the day. It's hard to get organized if you are feeling sleepy and can't think straight, that is what makes me believe you have sleep apnea which is a very serious condition. It's not just overweight people that get this. Some skinny people get it also with a recessed chin. Don't stress yourself out trying to be organized, it will happen when you have the energy. Good luck!

Well you need to get yourself up and going if you want to or not, it sounds easy, but as you know it is not, but then that is the whole point here, if you do not try to get yourself up and going then you are just going to sleep all day, and get nothing done. To me it sounds like you may be depressed, so why don't you make an appointment with a therapist, and see what they have to say. So it is going to be up to you to go and get yourself moving, and to switch your sleeping to night time only. You really need to go and see a doctor if you are that tired all of the time. As for disorganized, well maybe you will get that one of these days, some people just don't ever get organized. So go and see a doctor about how tired you are, and that you can't seem to keep up with your course work at the univ.

eat healthy foods.
i was in the same boat of always tired and everything but waking up early, going to bed early, excercising and eating better foods has made me feel a lot better.

Start with your family doctor. Explain the situation to her or him. Get a full blood workup done and check for any imbalances of body chemicals (iron, etc). If everything comes up normal, consider the possibility of a mild depression and have the doc refer you to a specialist to analyze that possibility.
The desire to just sleep all the time makes me say this.

Try organizing on a small scale first. If your entire room is a mess, don't focus on cleaning the entire room in one shot. you'll probably get discouraged and give up. Instead, focus on the desk drawer first, or maybe the top shelf of your closet. When you think of it in pieces it's more manageable and you're more likely to get stuff done instead of being overwhelmed.

take vitamins or talk to your doc about this problem. There is new meds every day and from what I understand of your situation, you need energy. When I get tired I usually get up and do something. Plus you might have low suger. That is one of the symtoms for it. You'll have to fast before getting it check. Its just nothing to eat after midnight and nothing in the morning till you get your blood taken. But check with your doc. PLEASE.
