You really shouldn't use a mouthwash with alcohol in it. Often the burning irritates the tongue and piercing.

Get an alcohol and saccharin free mouthwash such as Biotene or even try a peroxide rinse, which tastes awful but can help.

Actually, all of the previous answers are wrong. The best thing to use is non flavored listerind diluted 50% with bottled water or saline salt water solution. Actually You'll find that a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide will work much better at cleaning oral piercings... You can find it at your local drugstore or walmart usually under a dollar and works great as a prerinse for teeth cleaning... Its in a brown colored plastic bottle....It kills all germs and cures infections too.... mikey

Usually when u get your tongue pierced you are given a recommended antibacterial mouthwash and saltwater spray to use while it is healing, you should stick with that, don't let other people tell you want to use, what might work for them might have give you a reaction that didnt happen to them..

yeah flavor doesn't matter, but I would think the original would be stronger and work better, I dunno.... I got mine done a long time ago and don't remember which one I used I think the blue.
