very close friend of mine just stopped taking it ---Celexa.
He didn't like it--mood swings, anger issues. States he's going back to lexapro or welbutrin

I took it for a couple years, even though it worked for several months then stopped working. My doctor seemed to think things would get even worse when I quit. They didn't. The side effects were terrible in my case, constant yawning and exhaustion and zero sex drive both affected my life very negatively.

I now take a supplement called Empowerplus that has completely elminated the depressive symptoms, with no side effects. I'll include a link to information about it in case you want to check it out further as well.

Celexa was OK while I was on it. Took upwards of 3 weeks to really start making a difference. I didn't like the side effects while my body was adjusting. Was OK after awhile though. I did find that when it was time to stop taking it - you really do have to be weaned slowly. Otherwise you will have many bouts of dizziness and other nasty things. Good luck!
