If they have your credit card number they may charge the late fee to it.

As a loan officer I have seen cases where Blockbuster has reported fines and or collections on credit reports. But I haven't seen any in the past two years. Perhaps their new policy of charging your check or credit card automatically has paid off for them.

hi, With all due appreciate, you OWE the $$. once you signed up for the blockbuster card and rented the flicks, you agreed to the words and prerequisites. rather frankly, no matter if you wish the flicks, or imagine it is stupid for them to price you for it, they were OUT of the flair lease of those videos at the same time as you had it on your possession. With the above reported... they *will* deliver you to collections. If it finally ends up on your credit document, you may have purely your self responsible on your credit status dropping through 100 factors and perhaps finally combating you from ever getting yet another mastercard till the collections comes off your document in 7 years. Pay the $$. You owe it and it is honest for them to allow you to recognize to pay it. have a effective day.

they might threaten to send it to collections, but they won't. it would cost them much more in legal fees, not to mention the fact that they got the dvd back. the best thing to do would be to pay them what u owe, and never rent from them again. Note: if u wanted to, u could pay them one dollar a month until the balance is paid . that, by the way , is COMPLETELY legal. hope this helps.

nope. blockbuster will not send you to a collection agency. I used to owe them $38 for a year straight. Never got a letter or anything. I just had my credit pulled to buy a house and it wasn't on there. Do not worry!

I would rather not find out so I would just pay it. Then at least it will be off your record and you can try to win it back if you really want to fight for it. Right now, they legally have the upper hand.

More than likely, they will not! But they can if they wanted to be jerks about it! If they have no record of the fee and you can rent from them...don't worry about it! THey are known for taking away the fees! :)

No. You can't rent from them though because it pops up if you go to the same store. You can call them and beg them to split the fee so you'd only pay half of it.

i have never heard of them taking any one to collections... how ever if you gave them a credit card number they will and can charge it!!! If i was you i would just pay it!!! I know it sucks, but its better then some stupid mark on your credit... just in case they do try to send it to collections!!!
