I've got a Master's Degree in English, and I taught college classes for awhile. I realize that this is informal writing, and I don't expect people to compose their answers as if they're using a style sheet.

But if someone consistently doesn't use the spell checker, it's hard for me to take their opinions seriously. If you don't care enough to do something that simple, then I have no reason to believe that you've verified any of your other facts, either.

Unfortunately, there are a few people here who think correcting someone's grammar is more important than actually answering the question in a mature fashion. Don't let them get to you. Everyone here has misspelled words at some point. Noone's perfect.Again, unfortunately, you're going to have some pompous people who feel they just HAVE to point out every mistake they see. I guess it makes them feel intellectually superior. If that's what gets them through the day, well then, more power to them.

I get the same thing.I think some people will report you if you misspell a word. Actually tho your Q&A are easier to read if you use spell check--also leaves no doubt as to your meaning.

Nope, I am not a college prof and certainly not yours. I never correct anyone's spelling. I am certain that I make mistakes and if you do that is for you to correct, Not Me. I hope that this anger has passed. Have a great evening.
