Teach them also to lead and not necessary follow.

You ask a difficult question.
As a Liberal I would think that our children should have access to all knowledge and the training to use it wisely.
Duty, Honour, Country are proud traditions that have served us well. As a "DISRESPECTING LIBERAL" I think it would be most appropriate to teach these values in the correct setting. But not as a means of brainwashing them into one type of political thought or the other. ( The Nazi's and the Communists have used this theme too, don't you know)
As for God. You might want to leave HER in Church. Since everyone has a different version of HER. (Don't want to start a religious war you see.)
Remember it is our diversity as well as our unity that brings US strength.

If purely the individuals in our u . s . virtually understood how effective that flag is. we are so spoiled in u . s . of america, few different international locations in the international can learn, if any. Why we take a seat here and ***** while many different international locations are dying from mass unfold affliction and genuine poverty. i'm no longer able to be sure as quickly as we stopped understanding what we've. Its unhappy to work out. although maximum spoiled little ones in no way do understand what its choose to stroll in different peoples shoes, and we as a rustic are privileged to be so ignorant.

I'm sorry to say I wonder if that would be too little too late considering the sorry state that our country is in and the even worse path that it seems to be taking.
If you do, at least you will know your children will grow up right.
God Bless you and yours.

I would teach them American history and constitutional law. I would teach them the entire history of the us including the record of the military in all of america's wars and its foreign policy. I am absolutely sick of all the sentimental 'god bless our troops' crap when most of these sappy puking moralists dont know the first thing about war or military history

Those subjects are not politically correct with the new liberals in Washington. They prefer to put down those people who are defending this country and punish native Americans to crate better conditions for the illegals. The more idiots they can empower the stronger hold they can get on us. Our fore fathers are rolling over in their graves at the disrespect the liberals are showing towards the pillars of our society.

So you want to teach children about our country that seems to empathasize invading and essentially controlling other countries and a God that "tells" us that He is the only God so that we cannot tolerate other peoples' religious beliefs? And you also want kids to worship a flag that basically represents a country that lacks true morality, ethics and equality? Honor doesn't really exist anymore...it's an illusion...
I personally want my kids to learn tolerance, peace, compassion and love for one another and themselves....

We should teach our children things that will make them better human beings, independent thinkers, and more competitive in the global economy and society.
Alas, none of the four things listed in the poster's question meet any of those qualifications.

Absolutely yes, but our school text books have been changed, completely rewrote true history. I am not kidding, look at them. Go through this site, and see the changes in our books. This is the lies our kids read now. If you want your kids to know the truth, you need to teach them yourself, and make sure they arent forced to chant prayers to Allah as a course,,yes, this is serious. Islam in, Christianity out, Islam taught with lies mind you.

Absolutely, positively, definitely YES. And don't leave out truth, respect, humbleness. It takes two parents to do that. One can NOT do all, and it's a liberal feminist LIE that one parent can do it.
