my best friend who is a boy has this problem with me talking to his guy friends he says he just wants to make sure that i am ok at all times but some say that they think he likes me i really dont know what to do or who to believe i want to believe him but how he carries on i am getting the impression that he likes me

Does he flirt with you, make a lot of eye contact with you or touch you wheneve he can? Than he likes you.....It kind of sounds to me like he likes you and is afraid to tell you for fear it will ruin your friendship.

Point blank ask him. If you two are friends, you have a right to know, and should be comfortable enough asking. Or joke to him about it, when he does it say something like, "Thanks Dad, I'll be home by 9, ok?"

Just ask him... I guess the question is do you like him... because if you do take the lead and let him know you like him...see how he responds.... also becareful he might be controling.... good luck
