ok im 14 male 6,0 ft almost and weigh 125lbs i go boxing i am NOT fat well if u wana lose weight do it cois you wana fit in and enjoy it while sdoing it not just forcing yourself cois it wont help make little changes and they will turn big its not what you eat its how you eat and how to control yuorself with food look at skinny ppl they still eat chocalte ice cream cake what eva u get the point but fat ppl dont knwo they limits and that ant good when you full you full dont over do it or just join a sport u like and keep to it i do rugby and boxing 4 times a week well rugby 1 once a week but i enjoy them and keep me fit good luck

Love your mom. She's so supportive. NOT. Why cant you just be yourself? So you weigh 140 pounds. Big freaking deal. Why do you care what anyone else thinks? And do you really wanna be a stick like all the others at your school? Okay, dont eat anything and when you feel dizzy eat a cube of cheese. Also work out as often as you can. Then while you collaspe from lack food you can listen to your new ipod.

Start going to a gym. Also, decrease your portions and snack intake. I'm not trying to be mean; I have the same problem. I weigh about 265 lbs at 17 years old. I know the pressure of trying to fit in. Also, opt for 2% or skim milk, tea, or water. Cutting out pop really does help shed the pounds! I hope this helps!

U should never loose weight quickly. keep the weight off u lose is a LIFESTYLE choice. Plus like everyone said eating different food plus drinking lots of water help. work at say 5 kgs at time and take photos to show yourself the change.

okay, i am 166 and i am 5 foot 2 inches, and i dont care what people think of me, so i can fit in
if you have to lose weight to fit in, then your "friends" are not true
just drink a lot of water and lean meats and lots of fresh veggies, and you will lose it eventually, the healthy way, but dont worry about what others think of you
you are you, and that is all that matters...
a quad and an ipod is all well and good, but you being happy with yourself is the most important thing
if you are just kinda heavy, dont eat a lot of junk, and water, water, water
but dont change for others, change because you want to

140 isnt really heavy at all
especially at graduation you are carrying a lot of muscle at this point in your life
you may want to focus more on maintaining a healthy lifestyle to avoid gaining more fat.
eat often and shift your diet to include more protein, snack on egg whites instead of junk and drink water only, except maybe skim milk with 1 meal or in protein shakes
no diet drinks, no pop... believe it or not if you drink pop regularly and quit you will lose a lot of fat, immediately juice is not a suitable replacemnet either, just water
if you snack on carbs or drink pop, you wont improve and if you do those things and not exercise you will soon be wishing you weighed only 160
also IGNORE the people who insult your mom. i have always tried to tell my kids how unhappy their mom was when she got over 220 pounds of pure knee crushing, foot flattening, back bending flab.
seriously she cried everytime she got dressed before we went out.
any parent who wishes that on their own kid to avoid giving them some direction is an idiot. most of the women who said bad things about your mom arent happy in their own skin even though they say they are. i gauranfreakintee that they feel immense pain when good guys pass them over for women that are physically fit.
i know because it hurts me when people comment on my flabby tummy.
some of it is genetics, and injuries caused by the weight gain preveny me from running as much as iused to so i try not to dwell on it but if someone who cares about me suggests i exercise i usually agree with them. they just know ill be healthier and happier.
DO NOT follow the advice of just accepting that lifestyle, misery loves company and so do women who refuse to care for their bodies.

start jogging and stretching everyday. do ten minutes of stretching and ten minutes of jogging anytime during the day.
then cut down on fat and sugar; try to eat healthier and ask your mom to help you out by cooking healthy meals. don't eat after 7pm just drink water.
most important: love yourself even if you are fat, believe you are beautiful even now. whatever you do, don't beat yourself up about losing weight quickly because you're big, just do your best and do this for yourself more than for your mom or her gifts to you.

OMG, it sounds like you will always have some sort of problem if you have to be baited into action. If you weren't fat it would be depressed, stressed, or strung out. Discover your self worth and reward yourself so that you can make it through life without becoming someones slave.

OK SO 140 IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. CUT DOWN ON PORTION SIZE,NO SWEETS NO MCDEES TURN THE COMPUTER OFF ALONG WITH THE TV AND GET OUT OF THE HOUSE DO SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE YOU RUN WALK JUMP ETC. VOLLEYBALL IS GOOD BASKETBALL IS GOOD SWIMMING IS GOOD JUST GET OF YOUR A SS WORK IT OFF, THAT'S THE ONLY WAY IT WILL STAY OFF.
