I would say around 90 and that is not good.

I am curious to know what yours is or what it is for the person you are describing. I would not be surprised if it were 90 or so, as the other person said. Normal would be around 70.
Please urge this person to begin a simple walking program each day. It does not have to be super long or taxing, but it does need to be regular. Regular exercise will help your heart get healthier and will help with weight loss, so the heart is not under the strain it currently has.

normal resting heart rate is between 60-100.. for adults
