...even if you watch what you eat and excersise regularly? I just started taking it a few months ago and I'm TERRIFIED of gaining weight!

I was 22 yrs old and weighed 122 pounds when I started taking Prozac.
1 1/2 years later, I weighed 168 pounds. It may not sound like it, but this was a good thing for me, since I am a male and 6 feet tall. I looked like a bean pole.
Everyone that I know that has taken Prozac has gained weight. I guess people eat more when they are Happy. LOL
Good Luck

I've been on a low dosage of Prozac for a couple of years now and I've lost a lot of weight. Of course I've been exercising and watching what I eat, but I was on it once before and I didn't diet and I still lost a little weight. I think it's a bit of an appetite suppressant. Don't worry about it. As long as you make healthy choices concerning diet and exercise you'll be fine.

Yes I have heard the weight gain thing. But I think feeling better is more important than a few extra pounds

Well it could have a side effect of either gaining or losing weight. I would just try and control your hunger and be active.

I think the opposite...
I heard it suppresses your appetite and some people were using it falsely to loose weight
