It can be expensive. I've found the cheap ones don't work as well for me. Which is one that will straighten my hair with the least amount of time and damage, as well as keep it straight for more than five minutes? Do you recomend any hair products to use in conjunction with it? (i have medium to fine naturally curly hair which is about 6 inches past my shoulders, and when my hair meet any sort of moisture...well it's all over)
thanks so much!

I looooooooooooved my Sedu iron! I used it for about a year until it broke. I have crazy curly hair and it made my hair silky and shiny and straight. After that broke, I bought one of the T3 tourmaline wet-to-dry irons and I like that one because I don't have to blowdry my hair before I straighten it. Long story short - I strongly recommend the Sedu, even over Chi irons. I like the Chi products, but I prefer the Sedu iron. The Chi Silk Therapy is great, as is Paul Mitchell Straight Works, and I also use the Matrix Sleek collection and love that too.

I have tried all kind of flat irons even ones from the salon and found the Conair Infiniti to work really well around $40.00 dollars and the Babyliss brand are good too but Conair makes that brand too, you will have to pay more cause it is sold in salons. And the Solia, Sedu and the Hia all have good reviews.

flat irons and straighting balms are a great combination for straight hair that looks beautiful. first, apply the straightening balm to your damp hair. next, use a round circular brush with a good dryer, like a conair, and dry your hair as straight as you can, inward toward your face. finally, use the flat iron, an nice expensive one that's about forty or fifty dollars, to straighten your hair- the balm will help. don't over dry or burn your locks... good luck!

Remington's Wet to Dry Straightener is the best I have ever seen. My hair can be soaked wet and all I have to do is turn on my straightener, and wait until its heated up. Throw some heat protection serum in my hair and before i know it, its perfectly straight and dry. ITS AMAZING.

Chi is my fav. Im a stylist and we carry a lot of different brands. I find the Chi does less damage in the long run then say a Babyliss or Isinis.
