I'd agree with that.

I would definitely agree.

My husband tells me about the things he saw... experienced... and heard while being in Iraq.

My Father has told me about his role on the front lines of the Vietnam War.

I have friends who have lived the fight... and learned more than ever.

Although those telling me, are strong and couragous... I know that they have been effected by WAR.

The sacrifices must be shown of being in a constant War Zone... away from families... in a far off land!

I commend each and every person who has or currently is serving our country to make it free!

***EDIT*****

Kissmy..... - I agree with the disgust of those who protest all across the country at Soldier's funerals!

However.... I want to make it known that these COWARDS are not Soldiers. They are just idiots who don't understand the sacrifice that soldiers make everyday!

Thanks for the support, though!!!!

There are some who join the military who never see the pressure of war, so there are a few "unwounded soldiers"

However, I have been there, and you are never totally the same when you come back. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder comes in many shapes and sizes. I have one hell of a temper now, I never used to.

I agree with you too. Unfortunately there are some that dont.
Not sure if you heard about that group of weirdos in Utah that come to the funerals of dead soldiers and shout at the mourning family members (vile things like : glad they died etc).
The irony is that they can say these things because they soldier gave his life so that they could do so...
I could go on and on but you get what I am saying

There are always scars! Some cannot be seen, but they can be just as debilitating as any physical scar!
