i want to find my mom sister and brother!!!?

Question

my parents got a divorce when i was like 4 or 5 and since then i never seen my mom.. and my half brother and sister went to go live with there dad right before my parents got a divorce

i only know there names and not there last names..i asked my dad but he doesnt know how to spell out my moms lastname...

how can i find my mom sister and brother please..

i only know my moms social security number and thats about it

I need to know how old you are.
OK hon, you are almost 18, I understand your desire to find your mom, I probally would have wanted to, also. Your dad probally thinks it will only bring you pain and he wants to protect you. It says a lot to me that 2 kids went back to their dad and you were raised by your dad. I hope this tells you she was not a real responsible person and most likely you could be hurt trying to find her. Usually its Mom that keeps the kids together and it tells me you have a good dad. First I would want to find my half brother and sister because they did nothing wrong and most likely would love to see you.
Now, Mom is a whole new story, she hasn't tryed apparently to stay in touch with you, never the less I understand at your age, you wanting answer's. Are you prepared to handle it, if your dis-appointed at the out come of it? Because that could happen.
If you have your Mom's social security # you should be able to find her quite easily. I hesitate to in courage you not knowing all the circumstance's.
Can you talk with your dad and tell him how you feel and why you feel the need to find her?

Your birth certificate should show your mom last name and the correct spelling. If your dad has his old income tax paper; you can find your mom's last name there too.
