in the modern power station `s intermediate pressure turbine and low pressure turbine , we are using a techinque called double flow . it divides the incoming steam into flows in opposite direction ,why we only use that in the intermediate and low pressure turbine , not in t eh high pressur e turbine ?

The concept of double flow is for balancing the thrust on the turbine shaft. Thrust is force in the direction along the axis of the shaft. The lower the pressure of the turbine, the larger the blades and the more important it is to balance the thrust.
