How about if you thanked the person or people responsible for the good things and condemned the person or people responsible for the bad things.

God created the world, the heavens and the earth.. Everything functions as a system and what God made to function he can not make disfunction. For example the tectonic plates which cause earthquakes. Its not that God 'allows' bad things to happen God is a God who abides and strictly follows by the systems he created. He stands back and lets things take their course.

"No, but you can accept that there can't be good without bad. "
Why so? God is supposedly omnipotent, meaning he can do ANYTHING, even the impossible. God is all-powerful, therefore he could easily make good without evil, as illogical as that sounds to us. He could make us able to understand good without the presence of evil.
I personally think you could blame God for misfortunes, but a Christian may say otherwise. Evil is suppose to be the absence of God, therefore you can't blame him.

We should not blame God for the bad things in life. God did not cause them, He just allowed them to happen. If you suffer, you will better be able to help others when they suffer. If your life is only filled with good things, would you truly appreciate it?

God is responsible for all things that happen in this world. Something good always comes from something bad.

that is a choice one makes, to thank God....
and do not blame Holy God for the
bad things mankind creates for itself.
that is the height of irresponsibility.

Neither, my friend. We are all accountable for our own actions, good and bad. You create your good karma as well as your bad karma. If you want to be thankful for something, thank God for giving you infinite chances to return home.

God is great but sometimes life isn't. Walk in faith, not by sight and all gifts shall come to you in His time.
