he is fighting in iraq and i told him that i miss him today and he said that it sounds so real when i say it and i said it doesnt sound real when other people say it and he said no. why did he say this?

He probably feels lonely. Hearing your voice cheered him up and when you told him you missed him, he probably heard the honesty in your voice and he felt it. He probably miss's you too and hearing that you missed him touched him. It sounds to me that he likes you and cares for you and you missing him meant a lot more to him, than when others told him. Being over there is probably taking a toll on him, and hearing someone you care about tell you that they miss you can mean a whole lot.

I wouldn't try to read into it too much seeing as the situation he is in now. It can be very lonely out there, and perhaps he isn't being contacted onm a regular basis by others, or he feels you are the only one that really misses him. I would not push it for now or ask him more about it unless he brings it up. hope this helps a little

When your in the Military you make more money when your married. As well as anything that reminds you of home keeps you going. War can do some odd things to peolpe. Don't read too much into it. sorry

well if your one of his good friends, then he probably loves you more than just a friend..if he counts you as his best friend, well best friends are better then just friends..or maybe he likes you.who knows?You should ask though.:]
