There are many translations, but they mostly say the same thing. I have probably 15. But there are counterfeits out there. When God originally gave the word to man, it was pure. As for English, the Bible was mostly Hebrew (OT) and Greek (NT). There may be some minor differences between English versions, but not many. And since if a language is spoken, it's meaning will change over time. I keep with the KJV most of the time, but I use the others when I study.

Absolutely. First off, you need to understand there is really only ONE Holy Bible. Many translations exist however. All Bibles basically have the same message except the wording might be a little different. Some include God's name, Jehovah, for instance others do not. The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures puts God's name in every place in belongs.... aover 7,000 times.
Another poster pointed me in the direction of a great website for comparison of translations. It'll really help you see the differences are minimal. The message is the same in all of them. Here ya go.

Happy studying.

Christianity is not for everyone. The Bible was meant to confuse majority of people and to be understood by the rare and few.
Even Lord Jesus Himself preached in parables so that people won't understand Him. He was only popular then because He heals a lot of people. But many don't understand Him, even the apostles themselves. Its only then when He raised from the dead reappear and gives the Holy Spirit. Then only then apostles able to understand everything and things become clearer.
Confusion and misunderstood comes to those whose Ego is still so huge and not really giving themselves to the Lord.

The meanings and principals even though they went through transitions/translations are still prevalent and available to those with thier mind's eye open.Just let go, and let the spirit lead you through the bible.Your willingness to believe is what you need to evaluate, not the Bible's authenticity. No animosity intended. God bless and I hope the holy spirit leads you to the father, the author of our lives.

Well, it was originally written in Hebrew, and all different versions of the Bible are just different translations of it, but I think they're mostly minor differences.

It all comes down to your faith in God. And you can pretty much believe in anything that you want. But I know that God is real that he exists and what's in the bible is true.

No. I think what the Old Testament says about God has served to turn many away from God.
