I DO! I will go to the greatest lengths not to get sick. It is borderline obsessive. When my son is sick my husband has to deal with it. Generally I will get shaky, cry, and have passed out in the past.

When I had my son I also had your fear. Lucky for me, I just suffered constant nausea, no vomitting. Because of the rise in hormones early, most women only have this problem for the first trimester...I had it all pregnancy long.

They say about 60% of women suffer some sort of morning sickness. That includes nausea, not necessarily vomitting. Luckily, there are medications you can take. There is an OTC medicine called Emetril if you start to feel nauseous. Eating small meals every few hours generally helps. Some have tried ginger crystals but I found it makes me worse. If you get twinges of nausea and are afraid it will get worse to vomitting, talk with your doctor. They can also prescribe medication for morning sickness.

The good news is you have a 40% chance of no ill effects. And somewhere in the 60% you could just be nauseous. While I have heard some horror stories about vomitting, no one I personally knew had that problem, just some nausea.

I am emiphobic too! NO need fear! When I was pregnant with each of my kids, that would be two, I got nauseated but I never threw up. Not all pregnant women throw up so there is always a chance that you will be like that too. If you do start throwing up, there are many different medications that you can take (ask your doctor) that are pregnancy safe that will get rid of the nausea and vomiting. So, go ahead and have that baby! :)
