I'm 17 and I work out quite a bit, on my bench dumbells abs, protein shakes etc, but I have a slight problem with cannabis, I tend to smoke it once every 3 nights about 2 hours after I work out, does this affect my workout that I did before I smoked at all?

I'm not sure what your problem with cannabis is. As long as you're not smoking it BEFORE your workout, you should be ok. During the 60's and 70's, many bodybuilders, including Arnold, smoked the cheeba with no ill effects. However, smoking it before a workout will tend to make you lazy and way too peaceful to get any heavy lifting done. However, as a bodybuilder, you probably know that, besides working out, the most important thing to building your muscles is to REST after your workouts. The herb should make you feel like chillin and getting the rest your muscles deserve after a good workout. Just be sure and resist the "munchies." Filling your belly with all kinds of crap will only build fat, not muscle, on your body.

Good luck with your workout.

i think its perfectly understandable. i honestly cant understand why it is illegal to begin with.i have been smoking ever since i was 18.(i wont give my age,but ive been smoking for over 15 years) and i have never lost control of myself, never had an accident, never got into a fight, never got sick while or after smoking. i dont get the shakes when i have to go a week or two without it. i drank one time. i lost all control of myself. i acted so stupid and a few hours later i was puking my guts out. i just really cant understand what the big deal is.

don't know what you mean by affecting your workout, but it can damage your circulatory system. You put pressure on your heart and vessels when you work out, and ingesting cannabis does the same thing. It's not a good combination.

Only when you are still growing ( you are 17, you are) if you smoke then do fitness training it can affect muscle growth. By that I mean it can mutate the way the muscle grows. But if you are smoking after you train it is all good.

Watch "Pumping Iron" (1977). There's a scene with Arnold Schwarzenegger smoking a joint. Keep it up and you might end up governor of California.

YES. smoke inhalation deteriorates mussels. deteriorates your lungs. so if your going to smoke might as well not work out. besides your just going to eat that fat and calories back 3 fold over what you can burn in a day. trust me this is true all true.
