yes it is really hard it really depends on what jobs he want and if hes in jail for fraud well he wont be able to get a jobs in that department that deals with money etc. He should have a proby officer that should assits him anyway, i dont think that they just let them lose, they will need to check on him every so offen.

His probation officer would see to that. I recently was told about a man who was in prison, for robbing a party store. When he got out, he was set up in a construction job which would enable him his living expenses, to function in society. He worked the job a few days, said the work was too hard, & he didn't have to work that hard when he was in prison, so he went into a party store & robbed it of a six pack, & told the owner to call the sheriff to come & get him, as he liked it better in prison, & he would be sitting outside drinking his beer. Go figure!

There are half-way houses designed for return to society. People come out of prison with attitudes. My experience with ex-cons has not been good. Society rejects them and they to often return a life without opportunities It is a problem that society ought to address, but they just build more places for "rehabilitation".

His P.O. is supposed to help him
Also Homeless Shelters, where a lot stay, will have contacts. Just ask the person who runs the place. Salvation Army will help with food and they will have contacts too. GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS YOU
