Where do homosexual and transgenderd animals come from?

If these things are seen in nature, among many species, why is it wrong for humans?

If it's not of God, then why does it exist in the animal kingdom?

If it's a choice, wouldn't it be something other than nature that brings it about? Do animals actually choose to change their sex or to be gay?

What are the theories here?

So many people love to answer what isn't the question! I'm not asking whether you think it's right or wrong .... I asked WHY it happens in the animal kingdom. If it's wrong, WHY does it exist? Did god create imperfect animals, or is Satan tempting them to do wrong?

If you say it's because animals have no morals, did god create them to do things against nature? Lack of morals still implies choice.

As far as who says animals exhibit homosexual activity, try this article for starters: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/07/0722_040722_gayanimal.html

Of course National Geographic is so well known for its right-wing agenda that it's hardly authorative, but it's ok for starters.

There have been studies that seem to show that homosexuality and transgenderism can be attributed to physical aspects of the brain - specifically, the size of the hypothalamus, which is believed to control sexual behavior.

I don't believe that many people (although I'm sure a few do) would choose a lifestyle that would leave them ostracized, misunderstood, and in physical danger.

Animals and humans are separate kinds. There is no sense in comparing them or trying to parallel what seem to be common qualities. Animals act on instinct. Humans think and reason. Animals simply reproduce. Humans love. Only humans reflect such Godly qualities as love, justice and wisdom.

Observing homosexuality in the animal kingdom does not translate to the same being acceptable behavior in man. It is unreasonable to point to some conduct found in an animal and say that means it must be okay for humans.

Where in nature? Who said? Whose agenda?

Even if it did happen, they are ANIMALS. Ever seen an animal in heat? They'll hump anything! They have no moral compass!!

A practicing homosexual is committing sin and that is most certainly not of God. People can make excuses all they want, the truth is clear.

*edit** You are completely delusional if you believe National Geographic is "right-wing."

We live in a fallen world, stained and distorted by sin and evil. In that setting I guess there is no end to the variety of forms that sin and evil can take. There are people born blind, lame, even dead. Just because we are naturally inclined to a mode of behavior is not justification for that behavior. Most of us have to be taught NOT to lie, steal or cheat. When I discover a tendency in myself that requires me to focus more on myself than on God and His glory, I opt to err in favor of God and deny myself the benefits of a behavior that may not be His will for me. If some are born with conflicting genders and anatomies, that is between them and God. We should just love them and not judge them. Life is tough.

and you think that just because animals do something, it is ok for humans to do it????

but to answer your question, the coming of sin into the world at the fall of man twisted and distorted all of creation, not just our realtionship with God. Animals became vicious, mosquitoes began to do more than hum, and ivy became poison.

Many animals are coprophagous, too. We should not imitate them either.

I have been taught that animals only do this when there aren't suitable mates available.
