My wages were a total of $10,075.50. My federal income tax withheld was $1167.39. My ohio state tax withheld was $249.33. My local tax withheld was $201.30. Last but not least, my 2006 contributions for funds totaled $100.00.

1) you don't get money back from your W-2s. your W-2s tell you how much your employeer paid you and withheld and gave to the federal, state, and local govts.

2) if you are asking us to do a tax return for you for free, you only gave us about 20% of what we need

3) anyone that can do tax returns isn't going to do yours for free, we are already in our offices doing them for money. most of the people here either don't know what they are talking about

I can't believe you would even post this information on Yahoo! ???? Anyway, what you get back depends on what you claim. Do you take the standard deducation? Do you itemize? Do you own your own home? Did you pay for work related items? There are so many questions. You can pay a tax pro to do it for you, or you can go to walmart and pick up a turbo tax program for $20 and answer the questions and do it yourself. It's that easy!
