First of all, you're too young to have a boyfriend.
That said....
I agree with homemade cookies or brownies. Guys secretly love girls who can cook and that goes for guys at ANY age :)
Another option would be to see if there's a store near you called Five Below http://www.fivebelow.com/ They're really geared toward teens, everything they sell is totally cool and nothing costs more than $5.
Good luck to you... and don't be in a rush to have boyfriend/girlfriend relationships. You're very young and you've got tons of time :)

The gift of music is always appropriate-get him a CD he wants or a gift card for music on i-Tunes. If you can spend more, find a concert that some cool older sibs would be willing to escort you to. He'll always think of you whenever he hears "that" song!

hmmm... hmmm... a video game kit! im serious - whichever console he uses - if hes a computer techie, get him an Anti-Static kit from RadioShack - something cool like a kit for his ps3/2/wii/xbox360/pc - anything useful that comes in a little zippered case, like a set of swiss army knives -
or any kind of collectors edition video game - like Half-Life 2 boxed set with the book and a T-Shirt

well if hes 13 then hes probably into video games so get him one of those. ofcourse its kinda hard to answer that question without knowing the kid because i dont know what hes into so a good idea is to maybe as one of his friend what they think hed like. good luck =]

don't give him gifts you bought over the counter.. i suggest, make something personal, you know, like a scrapbook with pictures of you both or the movie ticket you had with your first date or anything that has a sentimental value for both of you.. coz it's sweeter..
