you can get new current model video camera $200 to 300. Than why you pay for old video camera $ 140 ? You can convert analog video to digital video by DVD express, it will cost you $60 to $70 plus tex.

If you are a video artist, you should know whats good and whats not. So stick with what you know and get a used digital video camera. Analog (at least consumer analog) is more trouble than its worth, and if you have $300, then you can get a decent used MiniDV camera off of eBay. (Trust me, its safe. I bought a canon gl2 off there, so I can vouch for it.) And it would probably have av passthrough as well. Hope this helps!

Get the digicam and avoid the trouble altogether. Save yourself some precious time and avoid buying something used, older e that would require more of your time to produce what you want.
Later on, if you need some help, just post your questions and we will be around to give you a hand.
Good luck!
