I think the three wise men in the Bible believed in astrology because the reason they came from the east was the star of Bethlehem. The most important thing is what you believe and what you base your beliefs on.
Don’t let anyone on Yahoo Answers decide what you are going to believe go out and find the answers through experience.

Only to the extent of predicting and determining the work of God.
Such as the wise men following the star to Jesus.
Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years
Joel 2:31
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.

i think that question should really be preceeded with: Do you believe in God? I mean the one God, not the Greek or Roman. Because if you believe in GOd, they you know that He made the Heavens and the Earth. Meaning He made the stars and their patterns and everything else. so it bugs me that people would rely on stars and whatever else to try to predict the future. I don't believe in it, because God doesn't change the stars' movement to tell us what is coming. He tells you what is coming (Heaven or Hell), or He tells you to trust him to take care of you. I think astrology is complete and total BS. I have no apology if I step on any toes with this.

No, and there's no reason to.
It has been proven thousands of times that none of the stars or planets, their positions, or any of their attributes have anything to do with anyone's life, personality, events, or anything else on earth.
Astrology itself has been proven to be no better than chance at predicting anything -- in other words, you'd be just as accurate as astrology if you flipped a coin to "guess" what will happen to you tomorrow. :)
Peace.
