It is not healthy to eat anything at least two hours before bed. If you are not burning the calories you are storing them as fat.

Chex, what is the fiber content on it and what is the sugar content? The best cereals I have found are complete bran cereals with high fiber and low sugar.

Well I don't thik it can hurt you worse than any other food. BUT eating anything right before bed as a rule is not good. You eat it but don't get a chance to work anything off as you go to bed and sleep. And when you get up in the morning you eat again.

I think it should be fine. I would recommend not too huge a portion, and to put artificial sweetener on it instead of real sugar, and consider using skim milk. I think you'll sleep better if you don't pump 500 calories worth of food into your stomach just before sleeping.

I also think it is healthier than, say, ice cream!

It is better than most of the stuff people eat at night.

Yes, it is good for you.
