You do sound depressed, but also bored and lonely. You need to do something to change your life for the better. You need to start thinking of the good things in your life and take your mind off the negatives. You can't change the past, but you can make the future better. You need to make yourself a priority. Get out a pen and paper and write down 20 things that you are good at like " I'm a good Mother ", "I'm a good Friend", if you think about it there are always things you do well. Look at your list, read it over a few times
Then write down 20 things you would like to do in your life like " Learn to dance ", or " Play sport ", look at this list. There are going to be things that you can't do now, but there are going to be things you can do now, choose 2, then make a real effort to do those 2 things. Mothers always put themselves at the end of the list, they go without to give their kids all they need. Mothers have needs too. You need to give to yourself or you have nothing to give to others, making you feel empty inside. Do these things and you will feel better, the kids will get a happier, and there for better Mum, and you might make some new friends along the way. Please give it a go, it won't be easy to start with, but its worth the effort.

If you don't like yourself for more than a week you are depressed. After some personal improvements like a new hair cut and some healthy dieting you are still too negative about everything you need to count your blessings and try to feel grateful for the little things. If you are still overwhelmed, get yourself some antidepressant medication from a doctor. You could be suffering from an imbalance that needs some medical help. You've got to try to come up on your life. Though it takes time, meds really help. Give yourself a hug and promise to make yourself happier whatever it takes. You can do it!

at the time you made decisions in your life it was based upon the way you felt and where you were in your head and soul.

why regret things that you can't go back and change.

you need to work on you on the inside. look at the things you aren't enjoying or aren't happy about and then look at what you can do to make your life a little better.

if you change on small thing that you did you wouldn't have your children. however in saying that it sounds like you are trying to convince yourself that you don't regret having your children.

instead of just being a housewife get out and do something that you haven't done before.

small decisions make big changes. everything takes time.

From what you mention, you are depressed alright and you should seek help.

Nevertheless in order to answer the question, I would like to tell you that I was depressed once, but I succeeded in getting out of depression's vicious circle.

One of the signs of depression is DENIAL, .. when someone tells you you are depressed and you deny it without seriously considering his words. I suffered from this.

another sign is the other side of the coin of depression, i.e. you become so euphoric, ecstatically happy, though you should not be as there is nothing to explain or support this state of euphoria. I suffered from this, too.

My advise is: See a psychiatrist. Seek a professional help. Depression is a serious thing.

Cheer up!
