hmm to be honest i dont like those colours! they're all too wintery.. if the reason you're choosing dark colour is because it is at night time.. then go for more rich colours - jewel colours look great! here are my suggestions:
~ emerald, dark lime, dark aqua, deep purple
~ deep aqua, dirty pink, deep fuschia, apple green
~ dark plum, dark fuschia, dark green aqua, cream
~ pink burgundy, bright pink, nectarine, beige grey
~ apricot, hot pink, nectarine, dirty apple
if you use the colours in the right way then you can make even the tackiest ones look amazingly elegant!
think of how tacky and 'barbie' bubblegum pink looks.. think of the dress in a long, flowing, halterneck silk bridesmaid dress with some white flowers.. orchids or lilies or roses.. and its lovely :)
dont be scared to experiment :) the best way to do things is to pick out your bridesmaids dresses first then match other things around them as it can be tricky to find the dresses to match the decorations!
good luck! hope this helped.. have a lovely wedding x

My wedding is going to be Lilac and Silver. Our wedding is in May and i wanted spring colors. I think those colors will still look formal if you use plum and silver. Look through bridal mags and get ideas on how to use those colors and still look formal. I'm having a hard time with that myself. Good Luck. Let me know if you need any help. I need help too. Congrats on the wedding. I'm sure it will look nice.

Oh, I love the Chocolate brown and pink. I think Maybe I would do a softer pink, YOU want to be the center of attention. Then you can really play. Bring out the hot pink in your flowers and centerpieces. The men can wear a deeper pink corsage. Maybe play up the flower girl too, in a hotter shade of pink around her waist (wide ribbon that ties in a bow on the back.) Play up the tables at the reception with a deeper bolder pink overlay over chocolate colored cloths. Use all shades of pink. You won't go wrong. Don't forget Chocolate covered strawberries and maybe for a little gift for your guests, a fancy chocolate with your initials on it presented in a hot pink ribboned little box. Oh, have fun, it sounds wonderful. I would definitely go with these colors and you can make it as formal as you want with the styles of your dresses and tuxes (suits) Good Luck!!

Chocolate brown and Hot pink go the best for a June wedding.......The dresses could be brown and June is the pefect time for many flower blooms that come in the pink shade your looking for! You have good taste! Stick with it and follow your gut!

For a formal look I think black & silver will pull off that look. They look very nice together!
Also for a fun "formal" look the brown & hot pink. It's not common and it's fun...but I think you can still pull off the formal look you are looking for.

I think teddys had the best reason for why she chose the colors she did. I'm not thrilled with "hot pink" for a wedding, though maybe the brown and a lighter shade of pink would look nice. I think the "coolness" affect makes a point, though. Congratulations!

I like plum and silver. It's different. Hot pink & brown are cute...for a birthday party or something. Black and silver are very elegant but seem more New Year's Eve-ish. I don't think black and weddings go together, esp. in the summer.

well, i think the brown/pink is a cute combo but too girly for a wedding that you would like formal?! I liket he plum and silver the best out of your choices because black and white seems boring. Did you think about a softgreen/babypink combo?
